Overturned big-rig snarls traffic on 710 to 405 transition road

A big-rig that ended up on its side shut down the transition road from the northbound 710 Freeway to the southbound 405 Freeway as rush-hour ramped up Monday.

The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. prompting the CHP to issue an advisory that the transition road could be closed for hours.

It didn’t appear any other vehicles were involved, and there were no immediate reports of injuries.
