On Friday, September 21, residents from the North Pine Neighborhood Aliance (which I am proudly a member of) and design firm Studio One Eleven are going to create temporary public parks in metered parking spaces along Pine Ave.
The North Pine Parks, one of which will be a mini-dog park, will be on display from noon to 5:00pm and the Studio One Eleven Park from noon to 5:00pm. The mini-parks will be between 4th and 5th on Pine Ave.
You are not going to want to miss this creative display of promoting parks and green space in our city. The North Pine Alliance park will be the first Downtown Dog Park. I will be bringing my dogs, will you?
It’s going to be fun and will send an important message to the city…we need more green space Downtown…for the residents and for our pets.
