Well we just got the final numbers, and the Pink Party fundraiser brought in $12,000 for the Gay & Lesbian Center in Long Beach. Over 200 people attended the event including Congresswoman Richardson, Assemblymember Furutani, Mayor Foster, Vice-Mayor Lowenthal, Councilmembers Suja Lowenthal, Gerrie Schipske and Long Beach City College Board Member Roberto Uranga.
Also, there was a special $5,000 donation from Councilmember Tonia Reyes-Uranga and the Bess Hodges Foundation and a $2,500 donation from Nobest Inc.
