UPDATE | A 24-year-old man who was reported missing Saturday in North Long Beach was found Monday night in Wilmington, authorities said.

Tievon Lee Harmon, who suffers from a past injury that requires him to wear a protective helmet, was found at 11 p.m., authorities said. He has been reunited with his family.

Wilmington is a neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles and located just west of Long Beach.

7/14/19 at 10:25 a.m. | A 24-year-old man suffering from an unspecified medical condition went missing Saturday in North Long Beach, authorities said.

Police were asking for help finding the man, who may have become disoriented, they said.

Tievon Lee Harmon was last seen by a family friend July 13 at about 12:30 p.m. walking away from his home in the 6400 block of Paramount Boulevard, according to police.

He suffers from a past injury that requires him to wear a protective helmet, police said, but he left the residence without his helmet.

He is known to use public transportation. Authorities believe his possible destination is in the North Long Beach area.

He is believed to be wearing a white tank top, black sweat pants and white shoes. Harmon is 5-foot-2, 180 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
