Editor’s note: Police say officers on Tuesday found Quentin Farrell Nelson safe and unharmed in Long Beach.  

Long Beach police are asking for the public’s help finding an at-risk 64-year-old man who went missing today.

Quentin Farrell Nelson was last seen walking around 12:30 p.m. in the 5800 of Paramount Avenue, according to the LBPD.

It isn’t clear where Nelson is headed, police said, adding that he has cognitive issues. He also has no cell phone or car, they added.

Nelson was described by authorities as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 165 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, police said.

Police asked anyone with information to call LBPD dispatch at 562-435-6711.
