UPDATE: Missing 33-year-old man with medical condition found in Long Beach

Editor’s note: Police said Thursday afternoon that Samath Peov was found.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 33-year-old man with a medical condition who went missing in Long Beach near Poly High School on Thursday.

Samath Peov was last seen at approximately 5:00 a.m. in the 500 block of E. Esther St. in Central Long Beach, the LBPD said.

Peov suffers from medical conditions and may become easily disorientated or confused, police said.

Police said he is known to leave his residence, but typically returns one to three hours later.

Peov is 5-foot-5, weighs 140 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and scratches on his legs. He was wearing a black baseball hat with an unknown red logo, a dark-colored hoodie, a black shirt and dark jeans when he went missing, police said.
