UPDATE: Missing 40-year-old woman with medical conditions found in Lakewood

Editor’s note: Police said Sunday afternoon that Tasha June Merola was found unharmed at a store in the city of Lakewood.

Authorities are looking for a 40-year-old woman who went missing in Long Beach Saturday afternoon.

Tasha June Merola was last seen in the 4700 block of Sunfield Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Police say Merola suffers from medical conditions and may become easily disorientated. She frequents McDonald’s restaurants and 99 Cent Only Stores, police said.

She is described as a white woman, 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. Her eyes are hazel and her hair is brown. Police say she was last seen wearing a blue and white jumper-type suit.
