Kylexia Newman.

Editor’s note: Police said Newman was located safely in Los Angeles on Monday, July 1.

Long Beach police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who’s been missing since Sunday and has medical conditions that may cause her to become disoriented.

Kylexia Newman was last seen Sunday morning when she left her home without telling anyone, according to police.

Police believe she was most recently seen in the area of 2100 North Long Beach Boulevard in Compton on Tuesday. She is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 244 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a gold shirt with black stripes and black pants and has four burn marks on her left forearm.

In 2016, she was reported missing and then found three times, police said in the release.

Anyone with information about Newman is asked to call the LBPD Missing Persons Detail at 562-570-7246 or police dispatch.
