Today, former Long Beach Mayor and Long Beach City College President Beverly O’Neill announced her official endorsement of Long Beach City College Community District (LBCCD) Board of Trustees candidate Irma Archuleta.
Archuleta, the incumbent, is running against LBCC Professor Vivian Malauulu. “Irma Archuleta is absolutely the right person to continue representing Area II for the LBCC Board of Trustees,” said former Mayor O’Neill. “Based on my own experience at LBCC, I know Irma understands the needs of higher education and I know she is a leader for the students in this community.”
O’Neill joins Mayor Robert Garcia and Supervisor Don Knabe, among others in her endorsement of Archuleta.
