The time to get some face time with the mayor and congressional delegates has arrived.
Rep. Janice Hahn (D-CA 44) and Mayor Robert Garcia have invited the public to an open constituent meeting at 10:00AM tomorrow to discuss issues pertinent to Long Beach at Fire Station 12 on Orange Avenue in Long Beach, the mayor announced today.
Details for the free meeting, where economic development, education, transportation funding and the environment are expected to be topics of conversation, are available on the event’s Facebook page.
“Events like this are such great opportunities to connect one-on-one with the people that I represent and am fighting for in Congress,” said Hahn in a statement. “I am looking forward to a great conversation about what matters to the people of Long Beach and who better to have that with than my friend, Mayor Robert Garcia.”
“I am looking forward to sharing some of the great things happening in Long Beach and responding to residents’ concerns,” said Garcia in a statement. “I’m grateful to Congresswoman Hahn for hosting and hope to see many friends and neighbors at this event.”
Fire Station 12 is located at 6645 Orange Avenue in Long Beach, 90805.
