Two men told police someone shot at them but missed in Cambodia Town Tuesday night, according to authorities.

The men were in an alley behind a home on 14th Street near Raymond Avenue around 11:30 p.m. when the gunman fired, Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy said.

“Officers conducted safety checks of the neighboring residences and no additional victims or injuries were reported,” Dandoy said.

It’s not clear why the gunman fired, and police didn’t have any more details on the suspect.

Detectives are still investigating, Dandoy said.
