Six people displaced after attic fire in Wrigley area

Firefighters extinguished a blaze that began in the attic of Wrigley area home Sunday afternoon, displacing six people who lived there, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to fire at 12:36 p.m. on San Francisco Avenue near Spring Street in Long Beach, said Long Beach Fire Department spokesperson Brian Fisk.

It took out 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze, Fisk said.

No one was injured, but the home was uninhabitable, he said.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
