7:45am | The Summer Night Lights project, which aims to prevent violence among at-risk youth during the summer months, begins today, Tuesday, July 5, at three Long Beach locations.

The 10-week program is being offered Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. through Sept. 9, according to information provided by Centro CHA Executive Director Jessica Quintana.

Centro CHA is among a group of local nonprofits, faith-based leaders and community stakeholders that have partnered, along with the city, to offer the program.

The three Summer Night Lights sites are:
