The crash was reported about 5:30 a.m. at Anaheim Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Long Beach police said speed may have been a factor when the motorcyclist lost control of his 2013 Kawasaki while heading north on Pacific Avenue near 23rd Street at 4:34 p.m.
The woman who was killed was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the collision at around 1:42 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and 21st Street, authorities said.
Long Beach police said the man was operating the ATV “at a high rate of speed when he possibly lost control and fell from the vehicle” at about 7 p.m. at the river channel near Wardlow Road.
Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash, but it is not believed that driving under the influence nor distracted driving played a role.
John Michael Marshall Insley, 34, of Long Beach died June 6 after a collision at 3:25 p.m. May 5 at the intersection of Redondo Avenue and 15th Street, Long Beach police said.
The motorcyclist, 24, was riding a stolen 2020 Yamaha on June 7 when he attempted to split lanes while heading north on Long Beach Boulevard near 67th Way, Long Beach police said in a statement.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at 10:42 a.m., where they found the woman in the parking stall, lying underneath a pile of blankets, according to police
A female pedestrian was killed Friday afternoon after being hit by a car near Smart & Final in Cambodia Town, Long Beach police said.
