A man was wounded after being shot by Sheriff’s deputies in Long Beach Tuesday morning, though the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has not yet disclosed why deputies were in the area of Sunset Street and Pine Avenue at around 10:15AM or why they shot the man, however a woman told KCAL 9 that the wounded man was walking with a girl about nine years-old who was not injured.
