Long Beach’s Lotus House Aims to Change the Lives of Former Foster Youth
Tomorrow, Fostering a Change, an organization devoted to helping foster youth, will officially unveil Lotus House. The house is a home for emancipated foster women that provides mentorship and wraparound services, with the aim of guiding them to a bright future. Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell, Mayor Robert Garcia and Councilmember Daryl Supernaw will be on hand for the 2:30PM ceremony and ribbon cutting.
