A massage therapist was arrested recently at the Belmont Shore Thai Spa where police say he inappropriately touched a female client during a massage.

Following a sexual battery investigation, 48 year-old Juan “Johnny” Zea was taken into custody May 19 at Dee Dee Thai Spa at 200 Argonne Ave. The Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office has since charged him with one count of misdemeanor sexual battery for the crime, which they say occurred at the spa. 

Zea was an independent contractor for the spa at the time of the incident, but he may have previously worked at other locations and police believe there are additional victims that exist.
