Here’s all the closures and service interruptions you should know about this holiday season.
The city will collect trash and recycling on Monday and Tuesday as usual, but will not collect on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. The rest of both week’s collections will be pushed back by one day until Saturday.
You can park on whichever side you want on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day because there will be no street sweeping. However, on Dec. 24 and 31, street sweeping will happen as scheduled.
Unless the parking meter sign says “Exempt on Holidays,” parking meters will be enforced on Christmas Day. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve don’t count as holidays, so parking meters will be enforced Dec. 24 and 31.
All city libraries will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 31 and be closed Christmas and New Year’s Day.
City Hall will be closed both days as well.
