Hood Santa will be visiting his old neighborhood once again to deliver thousands of toys to Long Beach children at MacArthur Park this Christmas Eve.

Through his nonprofit Local Hearts Foundation, and in partnership with skateboard company Diamond Supply, Tito Rodriguez estimates he will be giving away 4,000 toys and 2,000 Diamond Supply items to underserved families in Central Long Beach and beyond.

It’s going to be an epic day, Rodriguez told the Long Beach Post.

This is the ninth annual Diamond Christmas Toy Giveaway, which has taken place in Long Beach and other cities where the philanthropist knows underprivileged children live.

And while Rodriguez and his partners are busy preparing for the toy giveaway, the Hood Santa has still managed to find time and surprise children with gifts at their homes.

Organizers are still accepting unwrapped toys, monetary donations and volunteers for the event, which will include other activities for children.

The event will take place Tuesday, Dec. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MacArthur Park, located at 1321 E. Anaheim St. For more information click here.
