Two men in their early 20s were hospitalized on Christmas following a shooting on a Long Beach street around 9PM that night.
There are few details available about the shooting, which occurred at 10th and Gardenia Ave, except that one has critical wounds and another had a leg wound. Police say that both were taken to local hospitals and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
“At this point officers are unsure if the crime was gang related,” said Long Beach Police Department’s Sgt. Aaron Eaton.
Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the Violent Crimes Detail at (562) 570-7250 or, to remain anonymous, go to www.lacrimestoppers.com.
