UPDATE | The Long Beach Police Department said Wednesday morning that a 22-year-old man that went missing on the afternoon of Aug. 19 was found unharmed by a relative, police said.

The man, identified as Christopher James Timmons, was reported missing after last being seen near St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach.

8/20/21 at 9:00 a.m. | Police said Christopher James Timmons was last seen leaving the facility at approximately 3:08 p.m. Thursday.

Timmons is 5 feet, 11 inches tall with black curly hair and a full beard with brown-colored eyes. He was wearing a light gray hoodie with white and black horizontal stripes, light gray sweatpants and black slip-on sandals, police said.

He also has an “LB” tattoo on his left hand and three white scar dots on his left clavicle, according to police.

Timmons suffers from medical conditions and may become easily disorientated and confused, police said.

Timmons has reportedly gone missing in the past, according to police, and has been found throughout Southern California. He is familiar with the area and is capable of using public transportation, police said.
