ART PEACE is a mixture of children, youth and professional art that reflects the message of Peace. Families and youth shared how programs have transformed their lives and the community. In an effort to lift the consciousness of the community about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Councilman Andrews introduced Peace Week a series of weeklong activities designed to unify the community.
ART PEACE is underwritten by Connected Corridor funded by The Long Beach Community Foundation through a transformational grant by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
