10:00am | The Queen Mary will host a lineup filled local reggae bands this weekend when Uwanajama 1 kicks off in the ship’s story exhibit hall this Saturday. The lbpost.com is a proud media sponsor of the event.
Southern California locals like Fortunate Youth, Nobody Cares (from Long Beach) and 3LB will headline, with Sashamon coming all the way from Hawaii. The performance will take on an island theme with – of course – plenty of reggae but also free clothing giveaways. The first fifty ladies in the door will receive a free bikini.
Doors open at 7:30pm and the show runs from 8:30pm-12:30am. Tickes are $25 at the door and you’ll get a free compilation CD with every purchase of two tickets (while supplies last).
