4:15pm | Voters! Today is your last day to register for the upcoming November 2nd elections, if you haven’t already done so. The closest locations to Long Beach are listed at the bottom of this article.
“In these tough times our residents are hard at work keeping Los Angeles County and California
moving, we want to work just as hard to be sure that registering to vote is just as easy as a quick stop
at the supermarket—a quick pit stop on the way home,” said Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan.
You can also visit LAVote.net for an online voter registration form, or obtain one by calling 800.481.VOTE (8883) or visiting local fire stations and post offices. Don’t forget, if you’ve recently moved, changed your name or want to change your political party affiliation, you need to re-register. You can also call 562.466.1310 to verify your voter registration status.
Voters will decide local political races such as the one for the 37th Congressional District seat between incumbent Laura Richardson (D) and challenger Star Parker (R). Local measures include Measure GG, Measure B, Measure C and Measure D. Click here for detail and the results from our poll of Long Beach voters on these issues and more.
