We all remember the events of seven years ago yesterday in our own ways. Some chose a moment of silence or quiet introspection. These photos are from the way that resident and Long Beach firefighther Gary Biggerstaff chooses to remember 9-11. Every year since 2002, Biggerstaff creates a touching tribute on his lawn at 257 Bennett with 343 crosses, representing the New York Firefighters that died. Sent to us by photographer Dave Najar, please take a minute to enjoy these photos from last night’s remembrance and the many people who participated.
