City Manager Pat West has announced that he has eliminated a Deputy City Manager position and that manager’s support staff. The position was formerly held by Suzanne Mason before she was appointed as Human Resources Director by former City Manager Gerald Miller.
“The City is committed, from the top down, to find new ways to reduce expenditures,” said West.
Technology Services Director Curtis Tani had been acting Deputy City Manager. That position is now eliminated.
“Curtis was an incredible help during the transition” said West, “and we appreciate his flexibility, expertise and assistance.”
