A number of city facilities and services will not be operating on Monday, Feb. 15 because of the President’s Day holiday.
The city’s streets sweepers will not run Monday and will resume on Tuesday Feb. 16. However, metered parking will be enforced unless the meter says it’s exempt on holidays. Beach lots are always enforced on holidays, according to a news release from the city.
A number of other city services—including animal care, code enforcement and City Hall itself—will be closed on Monday. City Hall has been closed to the public since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
City-run COVID-19 testing sites will be open regular hours. Vaccine sites will remain open as well to those with appointments.
Parks, the main police station front desk, and refuse and recycling services will operate as normal. You can view a full list of closures on the city’s website.
