Woman found dead in water at Shoreline Marina

A woman was found dead in the water at Long Beach’s Shoreline Marina Wednesday morning, but no foul play was suspected, police said.

Police were called at about 9:30 a.m. for reports of a body floating in the water in the 300 block of East Shoreline Drive.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, was determined to be dead at the scene, police said, adding that at this time, there were no signs of trauma.

No further information was available Tuesday.
