holidayInndeadbodiesUPDATE | Authorities have released the names of a woman and man who were found dead in a Long Beach hotel room last week.

They were 47-year-old Steven Kight and 44-year-old Claudia Martinez, whose cities of residence were not known, coroner’s Investigator Kristy McCracken said.

The victims were discovered on Friday, November 6 at about 11:30AM at a Holiday Inn on the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue.

“There were no obvious signs of foul play,” Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

11/16/15 at 2:34PM | A woman and man were found dead in a Long Beach hotel room on Friday, authorities said.

The victims were discovered on Friday, November 6 at about 11:30AM at a Holiday Inn on the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue.

“There were no obvious signs of foul play,” Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

Authorities did not immediately release the names of the people.

The cause of death will be determined by the coroner’s office, Arrona said.
