According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the 300 block of Wrigley Terrace Road in Avalon sometime around 12:30 p.m.

Although the reason for the call was not immediately clear, additional units were called to assist responding officers with a woman whom police say has barricaded herself.
