A 74-year-old woman with dementia has been reported missing and investigators from the  Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s help in finding her.

Melody Jean Hudgins was last seen at 6:10 p.m. Saturday in the 22000 block of Salmon Avenue in Long Beach, said Deputy Miguel Meza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Hudgins is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 146 pounds, has gray hair, hazel eyes and wears glasses. She was wearing a green hat, a white sweater, blue jeans and red shoes.
