Lakewood vs. Riverside Poly @ Lakewood High, 3:15pm

The Lancers are on campus this afternoon as they host the Riverside Poly Bears (15-12,11-3) in the second round.  The Bears are champions of the Big 8 League and they took out Mission Viejo in the first round last week, 5-4, with four runs in the fourth inning with the help of some poor defense.

The Bears are led by #25 catcher R.J. Ybarra.  The 6’0″ 205lb sophomore is leading the team in batting average (.571), runs bated in (27) and home runs (8).  He picked his team up last week against Mission Viejo, going 2-for-3 with an RBI, a double, and a run scored.
