Long Beach State continues Big West play this weekend with the only home games on the conference schedule, hosting No. 18 UC Davis and No. 16 Pacific. The 49ers start by hosting the Aggies at Noon on Saturday, April 10.
Long Beach State (7-16, 0-2) will have their best chances to grab a win in conference play against the Aggies and the Tigers. UC Davis is 0-1 after falling to Pacific, while the Tigers are 1-0 as both teams conclude their season with Big West competition. After Saturday’s contest, the 49ers return to the Campus Pool for a Sunday matchup with Pacific, also beginning at Noon.
For Long Beach State, the 49ers will play the two northern Big West schools this weekend at the Campus Pool before traveling to Irvine to play the Anteaters in the team’s final Big West game. The team then closes the regular season at home against CS Bakersfield on April 17 before hosting the Big West Tournament the following weekend.
