Yesterday at the Woodbridge Classic, Millikan pitcher Liz Gonzalez, “took it up a notch,” according to head coach Don Harper.  The senior went the distance in the circle for the complete-game two-hit shutout in a 1-0 victory.  The win moved the Rams’ overall record to 7-7.

It was an All-Gonzalez afternoon as she struck out nine batters and didn’t walk anyone in the seven innings. In the fourth inning, she took it to the plate and knocked a solo home run that ended up being the only run of the day.
