Don’t look now, but the Compton Tarbabes are just two wins away from a state championship, after pulling off an enormous upset of Eisenhower on the road, 64-61.  Ike is the one-seed for Division 2, and the Eagles were heavy favorites

The win avenges a 21-point loss the Tarbabes suffered at the hands of the Eagles in December.  The Tarbabes will face Lincoln next Saturday at the Galen Center, in the SoCal Regional Final at 4pm; win, and they’ll be headed to Bakersfield for a state championship game.
