The first time the St. Anthony Saints girls’ basketball team played the Montclair Prep Mounties this season, it was for a CIF title—when they play them next Saturday, at Colony, it will be for the right to advance to the Division 5 State Championship game.  That’s thanks to a defensive-led 49-26 win over St. Bernard on Saturday night.

St. Bernard couldn’t handle the Saints’ press; Destiny French had 15 points, while Jourdan and Kendall Cooper led the Saints with seven points and eleven boards each.  Jourdan had two blocks and two steals, and Kendall had four blocks.  The leading scorer for the saints was Jordan Jackson, with eight points.
