The Panthers from Fresno (24-7, 9-1) are champions out of the North Yosemite League and enter the State bracket as the #12 seed.  As the #5 seed Compton is the favorite, but the Tarbabes will need to stay active and aggressive defensively if they’re going to advance.

Colin Stover (#3) leads the way for the Panthers with 17 points and 5 assists per game.  The 6’1″ senior guard is the straw that stirs the drink, so look for Allan Guei to ratchet up the ball pressure.  Fellow guard Bryce Martinho (#4) and 6’2″ senior center MacCauley Stahowski (#24) each average over 10 points per game. Also watch for the Tarbabes crashing the lane to get the thin Panther ranks into foul trouble.
