Cabrillo has been through it all this year, and despite mostly likely missing the playoffs in 2010-11, the Jaguars finished the season on a high note with a 6-0 win over Compton yesterday afternoon.

Last season, Leslie Navarro was considered the best goaltender in the Moore League.  This season, like a true leader, she has played where ever her coach needed her.

“The defense especially went through a lot with injury and losing key players to grades,” said Cabrillo coach Jorge Polanco.  “We showed up with 12-14 players at some times… we played through it all.”

Navarro led the way offensively with a hat trick in what will likely be her last game as a Jaguar.  Cabrillo is eligible for an at-large bid to the playoffs, but it is unlikely.
