10:00 |  Long Beach State continues to the 2010 dual season this week, heading to the Beltway to take on George Washington and Maryland.

The Beach is 0-1 on the season after losing to No. 9 USC on the road in the season opener, but the No. 51 49ers get their first two unranked opponents of the season in the Colonials and the Terrapins.

The road trip starts with a match against Maryland on Jan. 30 at 5 p.m PT, and then the 49ers will face George Washington the following morning at 11 a.m. PT on Jan. 31. #58 Jaklin Alawi and Rachel Mannase will lead the 49ers doubles teams, while Long Beach State will be paced by a veteran singles group inDeborah Armstrong, Manasse and Anais Dallara, who defeated USC’s Sarah Fansler 6-2, 6-2 in the team’s opener at No. 2 singles last weekend.

The 49ers home opener is set for Feb. 5 against Big West rival CS Fullerton. Additionally, the 49ers will be dedicating Court No. 1 in honor of four-time Big West Player of the Year Hannah Grady at the team’s home match against Pacific on Feb. 27.
