The Rams took 34 shots on Tuesday afternoon, but could only muster a two-goal victory.  “It was frustrating and their keeper played well,” said Millikan head coach Dave Christensen.  “Yeah, it was a little ugly, but we’re just happy to walk away with a win.”
Millikan go on the board early off a beautiful corner kick from Lexi Braner that Carly Marietti put in the back of the net with a shocking header.  Ashley Snyder added a second goal late in the first half, and Braner got in the box score again late with a goal of her own.
On Thursday, Millikan will host Cabrillo, and Compton will travel to Lakewood.
