For the second year in a row, the Tarbabes got it done against their historic rivals, the Dominguez Dons, in a 46-29 victory.  Compton went up big on a 45-yard James McConico touchdown run, the first play from scrimmage (McConico had touchdown runs of 53, and 79 yards).  Their next drive was three-and-out, and then Roger Jones scored against on the first play of their next drive (he also had his second return TD of the season).  At halftime, Compton was up 28-14, and had only run eight plays on offense.

The Tarbabes continued to pound the ball, and went on to win 46-29.  “This rivalry with Dominguez is getting more and more intense,” said Compton coach Calvin Bryant after the game.  “I have to tip my cap to them.”
