WHAT: Long Beach Century Club Meeting

Guest Speaker Ron Allice, Director of Track & Field, University of Southern California

As the USC web site says, “Allice, a prep standout at Long Beach Poly High, is well known for his ability to win. His overall dual meet coaching mark is 213-47-1 in 36 years at five schools, including 11 state championships in 16 years at Long Beach City College.”  Well known for his ability to win, for sure.  Allice’s programs have produced more than 284 All-Americans, 27 Olympians, four world record holders and seven American record holders. Tonight at The Grand, he will talk about about all that success, his time in Long Beach, and anything else he feels like.  Because as member Dan Gooch said this week, “knowledgeable, funny, full of Long Beach history… Ron is always a speaker you don’t want to miss… truly a fine evening ahead.”
