–The 49ers tallied their second conference win of the season. The team over-
came a 4-0 deficit in the final game, scoring seven runs in the third inning to win.

Women’s Golf
–49ers finishes in 11th place (15 teams) at 86-over par 950.
–Freshman Shawnee Martinez places 16th (+10), posting her second career top-
20 finish.

Women’s Tennis (17-3, 7-1 Big West)
def. Sacramento State, 6-0

def. Pacific, 5-2
–Klaudia Malenovska, Sarah Cantlay and Anne-Sophie Willems went undefeated
as the 49ers won three matches in three days on a difficult road trip to northern
California. LBSU has now won nine matches in a row, dating back to March 7th.

–Chelsea Parks (4) and Claire Martin (3) guided Long Beach State to its fifth-con-
secutive victory with an 11-5 win over CSUN Saturday.

–Jeff Yamaguchi hit the team’s second inside-the-park home run of the season,
also hitting a triple during the team’s series at Pacific.

Men’s Volleyball (21-7, 17-6 MPSF)

Won at #5 Pepperdine, 3-2
–Junior Dalton Ammerman finished with 20 kills to lead the 49ers to a 3-2
comeback win at Pepperdine.
