We got a call from Millikan boys’ AD Chris Kinder on Thursday informing us that the Rams’ CIF Division 1 quarterfinal match against Poly/Riverside, which the Rams are hosting, will be played at Joe Hicks Memorial Field at LBCC, Friday at 3:15pm.  Blair Field, which is where the majority of Moore League teams prefer to play when they have the option, was unavailable due to renovations or improvements of some kind being made in advance of the CIF semifinals, which will both be played at Blair.  The field could end up playing a big role in Friday’s game since LBCC’s fences are a decent clip further in than Blair’s–the Bears hit two home runs in their last playoff game, an upset over JSerra.
