Long Beach State women’s soccer head coach Mauricio Ingrassia has been extremely successful at LBSU, and that has a lot to do with his stranglehold on local recruiting. He knows it, and this summer he will be there to see some possible future 49ers.
Yesterday, the soccer program announced the dates for the 2009 Soccer Day Camps, Youth Residential Academy and Premier Residential.
There will be three Day Camp sessions for boys and girls, ages 5-13. The first session is scheduled for June 22-26, while the second and third sessions will be held in July.
The Youth Residential Academy, which is for girls ages 9-13, is slated for July 21-24, while the Premier Residential camp, geared for high school-aged girls, is set for July 27-30.
All of the summer camps will be held at George Allen Field and the residential campers will be housed in the campus dorms.
For more information, visit the 49ers’ camps website or contact Long Beach State soccer at (562) 985-1858 or [email protected].
