–Sophomore Alex Sanchez averaged a team-high 16.5 points and 3.5 assists over the weekend.

Women’s Volleyball (18-11, 13-5 Big West)
Won at UC Santa Barbara 3-2
Won at Cal Poly 3-0
–Long Beach State ended the season on a seven-match winning streak, and finished alone in second place in the Big West behind No. 8 Hawai’i.

No. 6 Men’s Water Polo (24-8, 4-4)
Lost vs. No. 4 Stanford, 14-13 (SV)
Won vs. No. 8 UC Santa Barbara, 14-11
Won vs. No. 5 Pacific, 14-12
–The men’s water polo finished the 2012 season 24-8, second-best in program history, while Balint Meszaros broke the school’s all-time record for saves in a single-season with 284 saves on the year.
