After upsetting the then-undefeated Millikan Rams last week, the Jackrabbits won their second league game 5-1 on Wednesday afternoon against Lakewood.
The Lancers scored their only goal of the game early on, and Poly answered back with two goals in five minutes to take the lead. Poly finished the first half at 4-1, scoring their final goal in the eleventh minute of the second half.
Scoring for Poly were Salvador Muro (with two goals), Yovanni Gomez, Mike Ruiz, and Kevin Jimenez.
This was the last game of the season for the Poly boys. The Jackrabbits finish 2-9-1 in the Moore League, 4-14-4 overall. Lakewood’s last game will be on Friday against Cabrillo.
