In a 45-40 win over the struggling Wilson Bruins, the Lakewood Lancers improved their record to 5-6, now just one game back of Wilson and Millikan, who are tied for third at 6-5.  Wilson has now lost two in a row, and three of their last five.

The Lancers held the Bruins to just eight points in the first half, and held Mike Wilder to just 14 points total on the game.  Lakewood hosts winless Cabrillo on Thursday, while Wilson hosts Compton and Millikan hosts Jordan—no telling which of the three host teams will end up with the two remaining playoff spots at this point.  Stay tuned!
