We’re officially into the Moore League regular season!  Though games against the defending national champions (like Poly played), regional powerhouses (such as Cabrillo taking on Edison and Tesoro), and longtime rivals (like Compton’s battle with Dominguez) can hardly be considered the “preseason,” there’s no denying that things step up a notch when these teams start to play each other.  We’ve gotten to know them real well over the last four weeks, so it should be fun to watch them go head to head—if week one of Moore League play is any indication, it’s going to be a wild ride.

Cabrillo

Cabrillo had a tough schedule of nonleague teams, since Coach Luke said his team wasn’t going to get better unless they played the best. Things don’t get any easier for them now, as they open up against Compton. Click here to see how they fared.

Compton

They may not have played the highest quality of opponent to date, but the Compton Tarbabes have put up some incredibly impressive numbers anyway. Click here to find out if the Tarbabes could keep things rolling.

Jordan

The Panthers and their scrappy defense had been undefeated thus far, but finally ran into some trouble when they came up against a very strong Santa Monica team. Check out how the Panthers did.

Lakewood

It’s the game of the year every year, the Moore League Super Bowl. If you’re not interested in Lakewood taking on Poly at home, I don’t know what you’re interested in. Click here to read the story and see the video highlight.

Millikan

Millikan has been an up-and-down kind of team, and we had no idea which Rams team would take the field against the Wilson Bruins tonight. Click here to find out.

Poly

The Jackrabbits never have any trouble getting fired up for playing Lakewood, and tonight was no exception. Click here to catch the Moore League fever, and to see the highlights.

Wilson

The Bruins have already proven they’ve put last year behind them, with two wins in nonleague play and a strong performance against Los Al at home last week. How would they fare in their league opener against Millikan? You can find out, just by clicking here.
