Indoor Men’s Volleyball—Quarterfinal Match

Escaping pool play without a single stumble, the US Men’s team is now in do-or-go home territory.  First up: Serbia.  NBC, 10am.

Beach Volleyball—GOLD MEDAL MATCH!

Well, it’s not exactly a surprise, but LBSU grad Misty May-Treanor and partner Kerri Walsh will be going for gold, live tonight, against a Chinese team.  Can they get it done?  Check it out and find out…  NBC, 8pm primetime block.

Indoor Women’s Volleyball—Semifinal Match

The US Women shocked the world when they beat Italy in the quarters, and now they’re on to the next round, just one win away from the gold medal match.  Tune in tonight to see if the US team and their two LBSU grads can take care of business against Cuba.  NBC, 12:30am.

Women’s Water Polo—GOLD MEDAL MATCH!

Wilson High School graduate Lauren Wenger injured her hand in the semifinal match against Australia, so we’re not sure if she’ll be playing in this game—the US Women’s team (who virtually all live in Long Beach) will be playing a strong Netherlands team for their sports’ ultimate prize, and their program’s first ever gold medal.  This one’s worth staying up late for.  LIVE ONLINE at 3:30am, rebroadcast on NBC at 10am.
